'Letterman' to Host British Prime Minister David Cameron

David Letterman and presidential candidate Mitt Romney might be at odds -- depending who you ask -- but the late-night host is willing to sit down and have a chat with England's political leader David Cameron.

British Prime Minster Cameron will appear as a guest on "Late Show With David Letterman" later this month, CBS said Monday. The Sept. 26 appearance will mark the first time that a sitting British prime minister has appeared on a CBS late-night program. (former PM Tony Blair has appeared twice on "Late Show.) Cameron, who has been the United Kingdom's prime minister since 2010, will be in New York to take part in the United Nations' General Assembly. Letterman has since denied that claim, inviting Romney on-air to appear on his show again.
