Lawsuit Claims Nick Gordon Assaulted Bobbi Kristina Brown, Stole Thousands From Her
![The news about Bobbi Kristina Brown keeps getting sadder. After a source close to the family told ET exclusively on Wednesday that the 22-year-old has been moved to as hospice as her condition continues to deteriorate, a lawsuit filed by Bobbi Kristina's conservator on the same day alleges that her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, physically abused her and stole thousands of dollars from her. Bobbi Kristina's court-appointed conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, filed the lawsuit in Fulton County Superior Court on Wednesday, June 24. In the court documents, Gordon, 25, is accused of controlling the only daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown by limiting who she could interact with. The lawsuit claims Gordon often answered her cell phone, would not allow her to make appointments without his approval, and manipulated her bank relationship so that he could access her money. Perhaps most alarmingly, the lawsuit claims that Bobbi Kristina set up a meeting with an unnamed person on Jan. 31 to discuss that Gordon was "not the man she thought he was," and was later found unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31, "face down, with her mouth swollen and another tooth knocked out." But even after Bobbi Kristina was placed in a medically induced coma, the suit claims Gordon stole more than $11,000 from her bank account. According to the lawsuit, Gordon had been transferring Bobbi Kristina's money into an account solely controlled by him without her authorization. He also previously "threatened one of the trustees [of Bobbi Kristina's trust assets] with guns and other violent weapons," resulting in a restraining order, the lawsuit alleges. In March, Gordon sat down with Dr. Phil, when he threatened to commit suicide in an emotional interview. "My pain is horrible," Gordon told Dr. Phil when discussing Bobbi Kristina's condition. "My heart hurts. I have panic attacks." Gordon entered rehab following his public meltdown while shooting the Dr. Phil interview on March 6, and checked out of rehab in late April. He was last spotted on June 12 in Florida, which is also the first time he's been seen since leaving rehab. Gordon has reportedly been back home with his mother, Michelle Gordon.
