La Toya Jackson Pays a Visit to '90210' [Exclusive Photo]

La Toya Jackson is no stranger to TV, but the singer has mostly stuck with reality shows, from the bizarre and short-lived "Armed and Famous" (which followed her and fellow "stars" such as Erik Estrada and Jack Osbourne in their attempts to become reserve police officers), to the British-based "Celebrity Big Brother," to her more recent stint on "Celebrity Apprentice," where she made history by becoming the first contestant to be fired twice in one season. Add to that a few judging stints on "RuPaul's Drag Race" and "America's Next Top Model," and La Toya is officially a reality TV pro.

But now, the 55-year-old singer/author/Playboy model/Renaissance woman is branching out into scripted TV with a guest role on an upcoming episode of the teen drama "90210." She'll play a high-powered music exec who makes aspiring musician Dixon a life-changing offer. Though the show often gives celebrity guests the chance to make cameos as themselves (as in the case of Joe Jonas, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Adrian Grenier, Janice Dickinson, Nelly, and others) and it might have been fun to have La Toya play herself, she'd probably have ended up recruiting young Dixon for a reality show rather than the music biz.
