Kristen Wiig, Ben Affleck Get End-of-Season 'Saturday Night Live' Hosting Chores
"Saturday Night Live" is ending its 38th season with the return of alum Kristen Wiig and "Argo" star Ben Affleck as hosts.
Wigg will return to the NBC sketch show after leaving last season for her hosting debut on May 11. She'll be joined by musical guests Vampire Weekend, whose next album, "Modern Vampires of the City," will drop on May 14.
The four-time Emmy nominated actress and Oscar-nominated screenwriter for "Bridesmaids" has a full slate of upcoming "post-SNL" movies, including "Girl Most Likely," "Despicable Me 2," "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" and "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty."
Affleck will be back for his fifth round as the Lorne Michaels-produced show's host on the season finale airing May 18. He'll be joined by musical guest, rapper Kanye West. Affleck's last appearance on "SNL" was in 2008.
Aside from directing the Best Picture Oscar winner, "Argo," the star's upcoming films include Terrence Malick's "To the Wonder" and Brad Furman's "Runner, Runner" – both slated for release this year.
"The Hangover" star Zach Galifianakis returns for his third appearance as host on the next new episode of "SNL" on May 4, with musical guests Of Monsters and Men.
