Orange Is the New Black may be one of the most popular new shows this year, but we have a feeling not everyone will be a fan of Julianne Hough's Halloween costume inspired by the show.

The Dancing with the Stars alum showed up at a Beverly Hills party Friday in blackface as part of her Crazy Eyes costume, inspired by the series' fan favorite portrayed by Uzo Aduba. (Check out the photo of Hough on People.)

Celebs who've survived scandal

Photos of Hough's daring costume choice quickly caught fire online and the dancer-turned-actress issued an apology Saturday. "I am a huge fan of the showOrange is the New Black, actress Uzo Aduba, and the character she has created. It certainly was never my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anyone in any way. I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize," she wrote on Twitter.

Do you think Hough's apology is enough? Do you think her costume was offensive?
