Jon Stewart Returns to the 'Daily Show' - via Skype (Video)

Jon Stewart will return to his "Daily Show" stomping grounds on Thursday night via Skype. The cameo will mark his first visit to the show since he took a temporary leave of absence earlier this month to direct a movie.

"Believe the Skype" the short teaser says, giving us a quick glimpse of a stubbly Jon Stewart, checking in from "somewhere far far away."

The clip followed a montage of John Oliver's running gag of making up outlandish excuses for Stewart's absence.

'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart/John Oliver' airs tonight at 11 p.m. ET.
