Who is "Alex Trebek"?

That's the answer to "game show hosts mulling retirement." After 28 years hosting Jeopardy!, Trebek told Fox News' Chris Wallace Sunday that he's thinking about calling it a day when his contract is up in two years.

"Yes, I have been thinking of retiring," Trebek said. "But I'm torn because I enjoy doing the show so much. A lot of people have been telling me — 'Alex, you've got to go for at least 30. You've just done 28. Now at least do two more.' So that has a nice ring to it. Put in your 30. And go help people."

Jeopardy! was renewed through 2014 in January 2010, with Trebek, 71, extending his deal with Sony short thereafter. He previously hinted at retirement in February 2011, telling Newsweek, "I don't want to do this forever."

Jeopardy! premiered in 1964 on NBC with Art Fleming as host; Fleming did two stints from 1964-75 and 1978-79. Trebek took over when the show returned as a syndicated series in 1984.
