James Burrows To Stay On CBS’ ‘The Millers’ As Executive Producer/Director

Preeminent multi-camera director James Burrows, who directed the pilot for the new CBS/CBS TV Studios comedy The Millers, will be staying with the series as executive producer/director. It was another impressive pilot season for Emmy-winner Burrows who helmed four pilots, three of which, CBS’ The Millers and Friends With Better Lives and NBC’s Sean Saves The World, went to series. All three multi-cam comedy series in CBS’ new two-hour Thursday comedy block have their pilots directed by Burrows, The Millers and returning Big Bang Theory and Two And A Half Men.
