The move means a seventh season for the David Duchovny-starring Californication, a fourth for the William H. Macy-led Shameless and a third for the Don Cheadle-Kristen Bell comedy House of Lies.

All three series are set to return in 2014.

In a statement, Showtime noted that the comedies have seen year-over-year gains in weekly viewers — making for an easy pick-up decision.
