Showtime Renews House of Lies, Californication and Shameless for Another Season
Record-breaking season premieres sealed the fates of Marty Kaan & Co., Hank Moody and the Gallaghers: Showtime has ordered new seasons of its House of Lies, Californication and Shameless.
The move means a seventh season for the David Duchovny-starring Californication, a fourth for the William H. Macy-led Shameless and a third for the Don Cheadle-Kristen Bell comedy House of Lies.
All three series are set to return in 2014.
In a statement, Showtime noted that the comedies have seen year-over-year gains in weekly viewers — making for an easy pick-up decision.
