Homeland, Louie Among 2012 TCA Award Winners

The Television Critics Association has announced the winners of the 28th Annual TCA Awards. The event, held in the Beverly Hilton Saturday, was hosted by Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston and honored the best programming of the 2011-2012season.

Among the winners were Game of Thrones, Homeland, Switched at Birth, and Louie, which scored its first TCA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy. In addition to recognizing this year's exceptional programming, the TCA also honored Cheers with a Heritage Award, for the impact the series has had on society and bestowed late night host David Letterman with a Career Achievement Award.
