Hilary Duff is returning to television.
"Ok it's official! Very excited about my development deal with 20th century fox!! t.v. here I come! :)" Duff tweeted.

Under the new pact, which was first reported by Deadline, the former Lizzie McGuire star will develop, star in and produce a half-hour comedy for the studio. Should her project not get picked up, the studio can cast her in a different comedy or drama.
Duff, 24, has been spending the last year in her newest role: mom to 4-month-old son Luca.
