HBO's 'Game of Thrones' Renewed for Season 4
No surprise here, but HBO has renewed its hit fantasy drama "Game of Thrones" for a fourth season.
The series premiered its third season on Sunday, hitting a series high of 4.4 million total viewers, inching out the Season 2 finale last year, which was the series' previous season high. The Season 3 premiere was also up 13 percent over last season's premiere.

Sunday's premiere drew a total of 6.7 million viewers across three airings.
The show has also proven popular with people who don't pay for HBO; as reported by TheWrap on Monday, the Season 3 premiere attracted the largest BitTorrent swarm on record, with more than 320,000 users sharing the episode in one way or another. That number more than doubled the most previous BitTorrent swarm record, which was held by the Season 3 premiere of NBC's "Heroes."
