‘Veep’ Sets Season 2 Premiere For April 14

HBO‘s comedy Veep is coming back April 14, the cable network announced today. The 10 PM debut of Season 2 will immediately follow airings of Game Of Thrones, which returns for its third season March 31. Veep stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the hapless and vain Vice President Selina Meyer. The actress won the Emmy for lead actress in a comedy series for her Veep role last year. HBO renewed Veep for a 10-episode second season last April after just two airings of the political satire. Armando Iannucci, Christopher Godsick and New York Magazine’s Frank Rich executive producer the series.
