Gwyneth Paltrow is still in shock over being named People magazine's Most Beautiful Woman of 2013.
"This is very embarrassing and lovely and very sweet," the actress told Access Hollywood's Scott Mantz at the premiere of "Iron Man 3" in Los Angeles on Wednesday. "I'm blushing all day long!"
When the 40-year-old star first heard she'd been chosen to take the reins from Beyonce (2012's Most Beautiful), she thought she'd received the notice in error.
"I honestly thought it was like, a typo. I could not believe it," she said. "I kept re-reading the e-mail. Like this has to be a mistake. Like, my publicist sent this to his wrong client.
Adding, "I couldn't believe it. I was so amazed."
As for whether her two kids with husband Chris Martin (Apple, 8, and Moses, 7) are aware that their mom is the year's Most Beautiful Woman, she said they most likely have "no idea."
"But they're always proud of me," she said with a laugh.
"Iron Man 3" hits theaters on May 3.
