Get ready to vote for the Doritos 'Crash the Super Bowl' finalists [Video]

The Doritos-commercial finalists have landed!

It's year seven of the Doritos "Crash the Super Bowl" contest -- filmmakers, both amateurs and the pros, submit 30-second Doritos commercials for consideration. Then five finalists are chosen; two of those finalists will face off during the Super Bowl, with viewers voting on their favorite. (Vote yourself by clicking here.)

This year, storylines in the finalists' ads include a tiny dog whose fetching abilities are a mixed blessing (above); a checkout-line lothario getting whacked in the goolies; and a goat whose love for Doritos is intense. Like, really intense. Watch "Goat 4 Sale" here:

The inspiration behind "Goat 4 Sale" is elegant in its simplicity (if not in anything else; it is a goat, after all); director Ben Callner explains in his behind-the-scenes video that a friend of his happened to mention, "Hey, my goat eating and crunching on food is really funny." When your friend has a goat, you kind of have to make a commercial, right? Watch the making-of video below:

The winner can buy a lot more Doritos: the high score on the "USA Today" ad meter nets the ad's creator a cool million bucks and the opportunity to work with director Michael Bay on the next installment of "Transformers."

Runners-up don't do too shabbily either: the second-place ad wins $600,000; the third-place ad $400,000; and the other two finalists win $25,000 each.

So what's the one to bet? "Goat 4 Sale" and "Fetch" seem to be getting the most attention on Twitter, but we like "Fashionista Daddy" the best (we think it's the nonplussed "Is that my wedding dress?" from the mom). It's below:

Watch the other two finalists -- "Road Chip" and "Express Checkout" -- below:
