New ‘Game Of Thrones’ Photo Suggests Jon Snow Isn’t As Dead As We Thought

Jon Snow, you know…a lot more than you’re letting on. A fuzzy new photo from the Belfast set of HBO’s Game of Thrones proves that, at the very least, actor Kit Harington is back in the dragon fold, yet another clue in just how dead his character may or may not be.

Harington, sporting both a sword and a man-bun, was photographed on the outdoor, snowy GOT set, with crew standing around and what looks to be a last-minute cosmetics touch-up, while another character – most likely the Red Witch Lady Melisandre – stands nearby. The photo first appeared in London’s Daily Mail.

Fans won’t need to be told how to fill in the dots. The Red Witch (played by Carice van Houten) has magical powers that might – might – extend to resurrecting the left-for-dead Snow, whose shocking group-stabbing stunned GOT viewers watching the series’ June cliffhanger finale. The series returns to HBO next April.

Both Harington and HBO president Michael Lombardo have insisted throughout the summer that Snow is not only merely dead, he’s really most sincerely dead. More recently, though, the 28-year-old Harington quipped that Game of Thrones “will remain a part of my life for a while” and that he’ll “probably be in my 30s when it’s over.”

The photo of Harington and van Houten (or the actress’ dead ringer) could explain how Snow is both dead and on HBO’s payroll. Who says the dead can’t wield a sword? Or a man-bun?
