‘Fuller House’ Call: Reunion Cast Gathers For First Taping

Returning members of the cast of Netflix’s Fuller House reunion have been taking to Twitter and Instagram ahead of tonight’s first taping as the 13-episode show goes into production via Warner Horizon Productions on the WB lot. It will debut on Netflix next year.

Those reprising their roles from the 1987-1995 series include John Stamos, Bob Saget, Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, Lori Loughlin, Jodie Sweetin and Dave Coulier. Twins Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen opted out of the reunion.

Among returnees, Bure has also been in the news as one of two shortlisted candidates to replace departing co-hosts of ABC’s The View. The Instagram Bure posted today was captioned “First live audience show jitters!”

Stamos, who completed a stint in rehab following a DUI incident in Beverly Hills posted a new photo today on Instagram following his Tweet a day earlier serving notice that “I’m back! Took a month to take care of things. Healthy. Feeling grateful for the love & support of family & friends.”

His Instagram today quipped “And we’re back! Same sideburns -different decade. In addition to Fuller House, Stamos is starring in and producing Fox’s new comedy Grandfathered that’s slated for fall.

Andrea Barber’s artfully composed post featured a vase of fresh flowers, the legs of richly hued lapis jeans revealing bare feet with bright red nails and a copy of the script plus the caption “First live show night! Overwhelmingly grateful for this show & its legacy. For these people. And for second chances.”
