Fox Developing Buddy Comedy From Conan O’Brien (EXCLUSIVE)

Fox is developing “I Knew You When,” a buddy comedy from Conan O’Brien, Variety has learned.

From O’Brien’s shingle Conaco in association with Warner Bros. TV, the halfhour multi-cam is about the bumpy road to success, told from the dual perspectives of two old men who have achieved fame and fortune.

Jeff Addiss and Will Matthews are on board “I Knew You When” as scribes and co-exec producers.

O’Brien and “Conan” executive producer Jeff Ross will exec produce alongside Conaco topper David Kissinger. “I Knew You When” currently has a script deal with the network.

Addiss and Matthews are both repped by Gersh and Principato Young Entertainment, and recently sold an hourlong Houdini project to ABC. This season, Conaco launched “Super Fun Night” on ABC with Rebel Wilson.
