‘Fast and Furious’ Producer Neal H. Moritz Signs with CBS TV Studios

Neal H. Moritz has inked a two-year overall deal with CBS TV Studios.

Moritz and producing partner Vivian Cannon will develop and exec produce half-hour and hourlong TV projects through his banner Original Film. (Cannon runs the TV department of the production company.)

Pair’s recent credits include exec producing Showtime’s “The Big C” and “Save Me,” which currently airs on the Peacock. Moritz, who previously held an overall at Sony, also exec produced “Prison Break” for Fox.

On the feature film end, Moritz has produced the “Fast and Furious” franchise, as well as “21 Jump Street,” “I Am Legend” and “Sweet Home Alabama.”

Moritz is repped by UTA for television and attorney Howard Abramson.
