The Face Host Nigel Barker: "Team Naomi Started to Implode"

Our Supermodel coaches went head-to-head last week, but the tables were turned this week with our aspiring supermodels declaring all out style-wars on each other.
This week's episode of Oxygen's The Face kick started with the ultimate pose-off, coached by none other than the Queen of poses, Coco Rocha. I mean excuse me, the girl virtually holds the world record for number of usable poses in a minute (something like a 160 - which sounds impossible but she made it happen). The test shoot is for Vogue Eyewear and the winning model who creates the highest number of useable shots in a minute will have her photo run as an ad campaign on www.vogue-eyewear.com.
But first things first, Coco shows everyone how it's done.
Like a glamorous tornado of style, rapidly swirling on the spot, Coco whips up a trillion gorgeous poses where even the dud's look like A-list stock photos. We know it's cool to be fast but unless you have technique with quickness, you'll literally fall apart! Watching Sandra was a hair-raising experience (pun definitely intended) and our Eastern beauty Zi Lin forgot to put her sunglasses on for even one shot — but then again why would you want to cover such a beautiful face? When all was said and done, Coco put Naomi's entire team in the bottom 3 ranking, even though this was an individual challenge. Can someone say Snub-city?
On the other hand, life in the house seemed to be peachy...for Team Karolina and Team Coco that is, while team Naomi started to implode. Funny thing is the world of modeling does bring women from all over the world, with all kinds of experiences and backgrounds, together. The camera doesn't care whether you are rich or poor, sweet or sour, if you can deliver at the right moment you are the lens' love.
So we all know the most important part of the competition is the campaigns and this week our Supermodel coaches mentored their girls in the sultry art of the lingerie commercial for none other than the worldwide lingerie brand, Cosabella. The prize this week is not just a campaign with the brand, mind you. We totally stepped it up, giving winners a boxed set of underwear named after them (a la elastic undie signatures) to be sold at Cosabella - No need to monogram those knickers!
So let's reflect for a hot sec. We have Naomi, who is known as the body with the walk that could shoot a sexy underwear commercial blindfolded. We have Karolina, who is arguably everybody's favorite Victoria's Secret Angel. Lastly, we have Coco who won't model lingerie but knows how to do 160 types of sexy fully-dressed shots (leaving the imagination to run absolutely wild).
So how hard can it be you ask? Ahem: Cue the burning bed and the model melee as our ferocious teams of fashion Goddesses decide who's sexy, sweet or conservative. After last night, it looks like sexy is the easiest role to play, made obvious by all the rolling around that took place. I kind of got riled up myself when the pillow talk turned into fighting (meeooowwwzaa)! Interestingly enough, despite the turmoil within Team Naomi, the angst stirred things up in just the right amount for the chemistry to read it perfectly on camera. Coincidence? While the other coaches cried foul, the question got begged, does the camera really NEVER lie? We'll find out next Tuesday night!
