Exclusive: Disney Teen Queen Debby Ryan Ventures Into The Glades
Disney Channel starlet Debby Ryan is once again venturing beyond the walls of Jessie-the-nanny’s tony apartment building, to travel to The Glades.
TVLine has learned exclusively that the 19-year-old actress/recording artist will guest-star in the July 22 episode of the A&E series, playing an employee at a luxury medical spa where one of the co-owners turns up dead.

This is not the first time that Ryan, whose TV credits also include The Suite Life on Deck and several Disney Channel flicks (such as Radio Rebel), has gotten dramatic. Last November, she guested on Private Practice as a recovering cocaine addict who figured into Amelia’s storyline — a role for which she was specifically sought after by the ABC series’ boss, Shonda Rhimes.
Ryan also has a new self-produced music video out, for a cover of Gym Class Heroes’ “Guilty As Charged,” which features one of her YouTube finds, 14-year-old Gabbie Rae.
Oh, and my twin sons — who occasionally write for TVLine — really dig her Disney series, and as such they will be quite stoked to see Dad’s story here. (It’s the small victories.)
