Exclusive: Community's Yvette Nicole Brown Snags Smashing Guest Stint on Melissa & Joey
Yvette Nicole Brown is fast becoming TV’s most ubiquitous guest star.
The Community vet, who in the past year has shot appearances on nearly a half-dozen series including Psych, Once Upon a Time and The Soul Man, will next appear in an episode of ABC Family’s Melissa & Joey.

Brown will play Calista, Mel’s (Melissa Joan Hart) stubborn, feisty and super-cool hairdresser. Calista smashes the bumper on Joe’s (Joe Lawrence) car in a hit-and-run accident, and her actions cause a rift between Mel and Joe because Mel doesn’t want to lose Calista’s miracle services.
The episode is scheduled to air on April 2.
Melissa & Joey resumes its third season on Jan. 15
