EOne TV Promotes Jeff Lynas to Chief Operating Officer

Entertainment One Television has named Jeff Lynas its chief operating officer, promoting him from his previous title of senior VP of operations and business development.

“I’ve had the privilege of working with Jeff for many years, and I say with certainty that there’s no better person for the job,” said eOne CEO John Morayniss. “He has been instrumental in the strategy development, growth and success of eOne Television, and was a key member of the leadership team of its predecessor Blueprint. Jeff is forward-thinking, understands the U.S. and international markets and plots how best to make it all work for our business.”

Lynas will take on oversight of all day-to-day operations for eOne Television on a global basis while continuing in his business development capacity to establish and structure new business relationships for eOne Television.

“This is a very exciting time for eOne Television, and I’m delighted to take on this new role,” said Lynas. “We’re now working with so many of the most talented creative and well-regarded producers in the world, and we’re looking at ways to further grow and strengthen our original pipeline and distribution infrastructure to bring more opportunities to those partners. eOne has grown exponentially over the last several years, and the best is yet to come.”

EOne handles international distribution for AMC’s “The Walking Dead” and companion series “Fear the Walking Dead.” Production credits include the upcoming AMC series “Into the Badlands” and “Gateway,” which is in development at Syfy.
