Emily Maynard Admits: Brad Womack Really Hurt My Feelings
‘Bachelorette’ Emily Maynard is taking the high road after her ex-fiancé’s hurtful comments.
Bachelorette Emily Maynard is all class — unlike Brad Womack! After learning that her ex-fiance said he “dodged a bullet” when their engagement ended, the 26-year-old single mother handled herself with dignity and grace.
“I haven’t heard from him since filming started … but I don’t know,” Emily told Access Hollywood on May 23. “At first, my feelings were really hurt because we left everything very civil and I’ve never said a bad word about him.”
Despite his hurtful comments, Emily doesn’t believe he meant to be malicious.
“Knowing Brad, he didn’t mean it that way,” Emily said. “That’s what I’m going to say.”
Earlier this month, Brad, 38, said he had “no interest” in watching Emily court 25 suitors on ABC’s The Bachelorette, before adding, “All I’ll say is she is a helluva woman and I hope it works out.”
