E! Greenlights Unscripted Series ‘Hollywood Teen Medium’
E! has given the greenlight to series “Hollywood Teen Medium,” which will follow 19-year-old Tyler Henry, who serves as celebrities’ go-to medium, Variety has learned.
The cabler ordered eight episodes of the unscripted project.
“Hollywood Teen Medium” (working title) will follow the life of Henry, exploring the balance of his unique abilities and living as a normal teen. He hails from a small town and is now living in Hollywood, as one of the top mediums in la-la-land. The series will feature Henry’s readings with some of the most popular celebrities.
“This series adds a new layer of mystery and intrigue to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood that our audience is so passionate about,” said Jeff Olde, exec VP of original programming and development at E! “Tyler’s innocent charm puts celebrities instantly at ease, and viewers will see him deliver messages of hope, closure and forgiveness to some of today’s biggest stars as they open up about their lives.”
“Hollywood Teen Medium” hails from 44 Blue Productions and Corbett-Stern Productions, in association with Mortar Media. Exec producers are Michael Corbett, Stephanie Noonan Drachkovitch, Larry Stern, Cameron Kadison and Sarah Skibitzke.
