Degrassi Remixes Classic Theme Song for Next Class Opening Credits
Attention, longtime Degrassi viewers: Prepare to have a lot of thoughts.

Along with the teen drama’s move to Netflix in January comes a brand-new opening credit sequence, which puts an energetic spin on the series’ iconic theme song. Degrassi: Next Class‘ 30-second, social media-themed intro, which popped up on YouTube on Monday, also offers a quick look at the who’s who of Degrassi Community School.
Though this new version is arguably less epic than the one used in Degrassi‘s early days — back when it was acceptable to devote the better part of a minute to a tour of the school and its various inhabitants — it’s certainly an improvement over the 10-second version used in Seasons 13 and 14.
