CW's Legends of Tomorrow Taps Tomorrow People Vet as Showrunner

Legends of Tomorrow has found its leader.

The CW’s forthcoming Arrow/Flash spinoff has enlisted former Tomorrow People boss Phil Klemmer to serve as showrunner, TVLine has learned.

Legends reunites Klemmer with fellow Tomorrow People EP Greg Berlanti. The two also worked together on Golden Boy and Political Animals.

Klemmer’s other EP/writer credits include Chuck, Veronica Mars (he co-penned the Season 1 fan favorites “Ruskie Business” and “M.A.D.”) and Undercovers. He recently served as a consulting producer on ABC’s late drama Forever.

Andrew Kreisberg, Marc Guggenheim and Sarah Schechter will exec-produce Legends alongside Berlanti and Klemmer.
