Criminal Minds' Matthew Gray Gubler Signs Two-Year Deal

Criminal Minds star Matthew Gray Gubler, who plays Dr. Reid, has signed a deal to stay on the CBS procedural for an additional two years.

Cast members Gubler and Paget Brewster were the only cast members whose contracts expired this year. Brewster chose to leave the series less than a year after returning. Gubler, who has also directed three episodes of Criminal Minds, has played Behavioral Analysis Unit member Dr. Spencer Reid since the show's start. "I can't imagine not coming back," he told TVGuide.com in April. "It's my family. I'm sure everything will be fine."
