'Chapelle's Show' Co-Creator on Partying With Prince, Dave and Questlove (Video)

"Chappelle's Show" co-creator Neal Brennan helped Grantland kick off its new interview series "Animated Archives" by talking about the time he partied with Dave Chappelle, Prince, and Questlove.

It's a weird, delightful story in the way everything involving Prince is weird and delightful. It takes place in 2004, soon after Prince's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and features Prince's Canadian in-laws, matching gold pajamas and socks, and pancakes.

Yes: Prince had seen the "Chappelle Show" basketball-and-pancakes skit, and called it back.

Incidentally, Brennan co-hosts the brilliant "The Champs" podcast with comedian and "New Normal" writer Moshe Kasher and DJ Douggpound. It's well worth a listen.
