Bristol Palin and Joan Rivers Will Switch Lives (Not Faces) on 'Celebrity Wife Swap'

ABC's "Celebrity Wife Swap" is back later this month, and it's got a doozy of a duo lined up for the June 23 premiere.

Reality-TV staple Bristol Palin (daughter of Sarah, of course) and comedienne/plastic surgery connoisseur Joan Rivers will trade households on "Swap," with Joan and daughter Melissa bundling up and heading to chilly Wasilla, Alaska for a week, and Bristol and sister Willow moving into Joan's Hollywood home. (Didn't we already see Bristol try to make it in L.A., you ask? Yes, it was called "Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp," and no one watched.)

Of course, neither Bristol nor Joan are technically "wives" at this point. (And calling Bristol a "celebrity" is even a bit of a stretch, despite what "Dancing With the Stars" tries to tell us.) But "Celebrity Wife Swap" has never been shy about fudging its title. Last season saw rapper Coolio get dumped by his girlfriend (not wife) Mimi after their swap with Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath... only to have Coolio later claim that he and Mimi were never actually a couple. A reality show manipulating the truth? We're shocked!

But that's not all: The upcoming season of "Celebrity Wife Swap" also promises a vintage pro-wrestling matchup, with grappling legends "Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper switching households on June 30. Plus, '80s singer Tiffany will trade lives with actress Nia Peeples on July 7. And hey, those last two are actually wives!

"Celebrity Wife Swap" returns Sunday, 6/23 at 8 PM on ABC.
