Bourne Legacy Ousts Dark Knight Rises From Top Spot at the Box Office

The fourth film in the Bourne series, which stars Jeremy Renner in the lead role, raked in $40.3 million in its opening weekend. New comedy The Campaign, starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis, put up a respectable fight and came in just behind at $27.4 million.
In the No. 3 spot was The Dark Knight Rises with $19.5 million. The final film in the trilogy has grossed $390.1 million to date.
The third Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie snagged $8.2 million for the fifth spot, while Total Recall fell all the way to No. 6 with $8.1 million after coming in second last week.
