Annabeth Gish To Reprise Her ‘X-Files’ Role On Fox Event Series

Annabeth Gish is returning for The X-Files event series on Fox. She will be reprising her role as FBI Agent Monica Reyes, joining her former colleagues Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson).

The six-episode series debuts with a special two-night event beginning Sunday, January 24 at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT following the NFC Championship Game, continuing on Monday, January 25 at 8 PM.

The X-Files follows FBI special agents Scully (Anderson) and Mulder (Duchovny) as they investigate unexplained cases – “X-Files” – for which the only answers involve paranormal phenomena. The show was a breakout when it premiered in 1993 and went on to become a pop culture phenom and a global hit. The X-Files, one of the longest sci-fi series ever on TV, also became a rare genre awards darling, winning 16 Emmys during its run. The original series creator/executive producer Chris Carter is directing the revival.

Gish, repped by Innovative Artists and Thruline, co-starred on FX’s The Bridge opposite Diane Kruger and Demian Bichir, and recurred on series including Sons Of Anarchy, Pretty Little Liars and The West Wing. She recently wrapped indie feature Grass Stains opposite Tye Sheridan and Kaitlyn Dever.
