Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues may still be weeks away, but if you're a fan of the hilarious original, Washington DC's Newseum has just the exhibit for you!

The struggling museum dedicated to the freedom of the press and the first amendment, has opened Anchorman: The Exhibit. With full-sized portraits done in pop-art style, wardrobes from the film, and a recreation of the news desk, the entire exhibit is a monument to the beloved comedy. But it also celebrates news, media, and the history of women's struggles breaking into the press.

It is a decidedly unusual movie for the traditionally straight-laced institute, but the Newseum itself has been hit with the same financial turmoil that so many other public facilities and learning institutes have faced in the last few years. They are hoping this delightful exhibit could serve as a turnaround.

Part of the exhibit includes over 60 props from the film, including Ron Burgundy's leisure suits, his jazz flute, his moustache comb and Brian Fantana's bottle of Sex Panther cologne.

The exhibit is on display through August 31, 2014, giving prospective viewers nearly a year to enjoy the installation. On December 17, the Newseum will host a special advanced screening of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, hosted by star David Koechner.
