The beat will not go on for America's Best Dance Crew, which has been canceled after seven seasons, Variety reports.

The MTV reality series, produced by Randy Jackson, featured judges JC Chasez, Lil Mama and, more recently, So You Think You Can Dance alum D-Trix. D-Trix, and before him Omarion, followed choreographer Shane Sparks, who left after Season 4 amid child molestation charges unrelated to the show. The show was hosted by Mario Lopez, who recently took over co-hosting duties on The X Factor.

"We are grateful to Randy Jackson and Warner Horizon for having brought our audience seven amazing seasons of dance with ABDC, and look forward to more successful and dynamic entertaining collaborations in the future," MTV said in a statement.

America's Best Dance Crew launched the careers of several successful dance groups, most notably Season 1's Jabbawockeez troupe.
