American Actor Takes On Australians’ Dominance This Pilot Season: Video
This has been a sore topic for Hollywood talent agents and their American-born clients this pilot season as U.S. broadcast networks bet heavily on Australian actors. Young Aussie thesps have been booking pilot lead after pilot lead, primarily on the drama side. The trend wasn’t lost on one American actor, Brian Guest, who decides to go all Crocodile Dundee in order to secure a pilot gig after losing out to Australian rivals in previous auditions.
