AMC's New Drama 'Low Winter Sun': Cop-Killing Cops? [Exclusive Video]

Cop, or cops, have killed another cop, and internal affairs is hot on the case ... that's the lowdown on "Low Winter Sun," AMC's upcoming drama that will premiere on August 11, right after the premiere of the first of eight final episodes of "Breaking Bad."

A remake of a British miniseries, "Low Winter Sun" stars Mark Strong (who starred in the British series) and Lennie James ("The Walking Dead") as a pair of Detroit police detectives who are wrapped up in the murder of a fellow cop and now don't know if they can trust each other with the secrets they've shared while covering it up.

In this exclusive clip, Frank Agnew (Strong) and Geddus (James) are confronted by their precinct commander, Dawson (Ruben Santiago-Hudson, "Castle"), who warns them that he's not about to take the fall for them.

Among the rest of the cast for the show's 10-episode first season: "Breaking Bad" alum David Constabile, who plays internal affairs investigator Simon Boyd; James Ransone ("Treme") as Detroit mobster Damon Callis; "Sons of Anarchy" alum Sprague Grayden as Callis's wife, Maya; and Erika Alexander ("Living Single") as cop Louise Cullen.

"Low Winter Sun" premieres on AMC on Sunday, August 11.
