Amazon Licenses Streaming Rights For Scripps Networks Shows
Scripps Networks CEO Upbeat About Programming And Economy
SEATTLE–Feb. 28, 2013– (NASDAQ: AMZN) – Amazon.com, Inc. today announced a content licensing agreement with Scripps Networks Interactive, Inc. (NYSE: SNI) that will make Prime Instant Video a subscription home to hundreds of episodes from past seasons of hit TV shows from the Scripps family of brands: HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Cooking Channel and Travel Channel.
Starting today, Prime members will be able to instantly view hundreds of episodes of original programming, including Rachael Ray’s Week in a Day; Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations; Cupcake Wars; Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives; House Hunters and House Hunters International; Iron Chef America; Man v. Food; Selling New York and Selling LA; Throwdown With Bobby Flay; Chopped; Ghost Adventures; and Yard Crashers, among other popular shows across the networks. Many of the popular lifestyle programs from Scripps will also be available for purchase and download from Amazon Instant Video.

This is the first online-only subscription distribution deal for Scripps Networks Interactive.
