ABC has renewed dramas Private Practice and Body of Proof, along with freshman comedies Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 and Last Man Standing, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Private Practice's renewal comes as somewhat of a surprise. Shonda Rhimes' medical drama suffered a huge drop when it moved to Tuesdays, sliding nearly 30 percent to a series low of 6.1 million viewers and a 1.5 in the demo. The series debuted in 2007 to 14.41 million viewers. Rhimes' other dramas, Grey's Anatomy and Scandal, were already renewed.

Body of Proof and Apartment 23 were also surprises, with the former's most recent outing drawing only 10.05 million viewers and regularly losing the timeslot battle in the adults-18-to-49 demographic. Freshman comedy Apartment 23 drew just 5.69 million viewers in its latest outing, down from the 6.91 that tuned in for the series premiere. Tim Allen's Last Man Standing drew 6.62 million in its season finale, down from the 12.93 in the series premiere.

The news comes shortly after the network reportedly canceled Pan Am, GCB, The River and Missing.
