ABC Family Promotes Marci Cooperstein To VP Programming & Development

Marci Cooperstein has been promoted to VP, Programming and Development at ABC Family. Cooperstein, who reports to EVP Original Programming & Development Kate Juergens, succeeds Mina Lefevre, who left earlier this year to head scripted programming at MTV. Cooperstein, who was most recently Executive Director, will oversee development and existing ABC Family drama series, including upcoming drama Twisted. “Marci has a proven ability to develop shows that connect with milennials and further our brand,” said Juergens. Cooperstein developed ABC Family’s long-running original drama The Secret Life of the American Teenager, breakout comedy Baby Daddy, Switched at Birth and upcoming comedy-reality series Dancing Fools.
