20th Century Fox Boosts Domestic Marketing Unit With Exex Hires

Joseph Epstein has been named SVP Digital Marketing Strategy for 20th Century Fox Domestic Marketing and Heather Johnson Phillips will serve as SVP Publicity. They report to EVP Marketing Debbie Miller, and already have started in their new roles.

Epstein last served as Chief Marketing Officer at Digital Broadcasting Group, where he oversaw DBG’s strategic positioning, marketing functions and sales strategy — including pitching, securing and launching of SPACES, DBG’s original YouTube channel. Before that, he was VP Digital Marketing at Sony Pictures and worked at agencies Razorfish and DWA Studios. Phillips, who began her career at Miramax Films, returns to 20th Century Fox, where she worked on the features Walk The Line, The Family Stone and Live Free Or Die Hard. Most recently, she oversaw marketing, digital solutions and business development for creative advertising agency Aspect Ratio, working on projects for clients including HBO, Comcast, CAA, Disney, CBS Films, Open Road and Warner Bros.
