'Vampire Diaries' Star Nina Dobrev Gets Sex-Scene Filming Tips From Her Mom

"The Vampire Diaries" is one of the sexiest shows on TV, and it's all thanks to star Nina Dobrev's … mom?!

Last night on "Conan," Dobrev talked about filming the show's steamy sex scenes between her character, Elena Gilbert, the good girl turned bad vampire, and various love interests.

"The awkwardness and the weirdness is when my mom comes to set and I have to do a sex scene," she said.

"But what's even weirder, when I come off set, she starts giving me notes … like, arch your back more, it'll look sexier if you arch your back."

"That's creepy! Your mom shouldn't be saying that stuff!" a horrified Conan O'Brien exclaimed.

"Well, we're close!" Dobrev explained.

Fellow "Conan" guest Zach Braff added to the laughs by slyly opening his shirt. "Always arch your back more," he mused. "Good note!"

Dobrev also revealed to O'Brien that she wants to be the new Angelina Jolie, and she kicks his butt to prove that she can.

"The Vampire Diaries" airs Thursdays at 8 PM on The CW.
