'NCIS: Los Angeles' cameraman seriously injured on set

An accident on the set of CBS's hit procedural "NCIS: Los Angeles" left a cameraman seriously injured, Deadline is reporting.

The injury occurred yesterday when a Steadicam operator got pinned against something and had to be rushed to the hospital. Production of the show, which stars Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J, shut down immediately after the accident, but resumed today; the episode being shot will serve as a backdoor pilot for the new "NCIS: LA" spinoff, starring John Corbett and Kim Raver.

The incident comes less than two weeks after three cast and crew members were killed in a helicopter crash shooting a Discovery reality series. Plus, a stuntman suffered serious head injuries on the set of ABC's "Castle" back in January.
