'Dancing With the Stars' Week 3 Results: Who Went Home After Prom Night?

The show's prom-themed week marks the end of the party for a country music superstar.

Wynonna Judd and Tony Dovolani perform on "Dancing With the Stars."

SPOILER ALERT: This recap reveals the elimination results of Week 3 of "Dancing With the Stars."

Tuesday night's "Dancing With the Stars" featured a king, a queen, and a whole lot in between as the second contestant of the season went home following the show's Prom Night theme. A whopping ten points divided the highest and lowest scorers this week. While last week's results show had the bottom two couples getting an unexpected reprieve after Olympic darling Dorothy Hamill withdrew herself from the competition, this week there was no such twist. Country music superstar Wynonna Judd was eliminated during the Week 3 results show, along with last season's mirrorball winning pro dancer Tony Dovolani.

You gotta move to move on at "Dancing With the Stars," and both D.L. Hughley and Judd found that out the hard way this week. The two board bottom dwellers were chastised for their lack of movement on Monday night's performance show.

While Hughley's prom night salsa attempt to James Brown's "Sex Machine" didn't impress Len Goodman ("If you're a sex machine I'm 'America's Next Top Model,'" the irritated judge said), the funnyman's fans were impressed enough to keep him around another week. The comedian was deemed safe, although he still seemed to be smarting from the judges' nasty critiques. "I think they're bullies," he remarked, adding that some of Monday night's comments went too far.

Meanwhile, Judd clearly didn't fare quite as well. The country singer's sluggish samba to the Def Leppard classic "Pour Some Sugar On Me" had no one rocking and rolling. In fact, Goodman poured this one on her: "You're like Mount Rushmore. You look magnificent but you don't move!"

Watch Wynonna's leather-clad performance:

While the singer's goal was to "make Bruno [Tonioli] go rawr," it more likely made him go "hmmm." The pyrotechnics, the black leather and chains, and Dovolani's bad wig that had him channeling Slash were all trumped by a disappointing dance that featured not-so-prom-like pole dancing. Not even advice from Def Lep drummer Rick Allen could help.

"We got wild outfits, wild pole dancing, but the rest of the dance was kind of a whisper," Carrie Ann Inaba said after the dismal dance. "I didn't see it go up a notch this week."

In fact, it went way down. Wynonna's 18-point streak ended with a lowly 15, putting her in last place for the week. Comedian Andy Dick joined her in the bottom two on Tuesday night, but will live on to create a dance that he plans to dedicate to his 15-year old daughter next Monday on the show's "Best Years of Their Lives" theme week.

Of her untimely -- but not completely unexpected -- elimination, Judd said, "This is the hardest job I've ever loved. I'm a singer not a dancer." She added that she can't wait to get back to making her record, and gave a shout out to her country music fans.

No prom would be complete without an elected Prom King and Queen. Hashtag-happy viewers voted Zendaya Coleman and Jacoby Jones as this season's royal couple. The prize (besides some nifty majestic headgear?): Two bonus points added to their scores. The prom points moved Coleman back on top of the leaderboard after she was temporarily topped by Kellie Pickler, and gave Jones some major locker room bragging rights.

The next episode of "Dancing With the Stars" airs on Monday, 4/8 at 8 PM on ABC.
