2017 is already shaping up to be the year of Ryan Reynolds!
The Hasty Pudding Institute at Harvard University officially announced Reynolds as its 2017 Man of the Year on Friday, adding another honor to the Golden Globe-nominated actor's list of accolades.
Hasty Pudding Theatricals, which is the nation's oldest theatrical organization, is set to celebrate the Deadpool star with a special roast at Harvard Square next month. Reynolds will be presented with his official Pudding Pot during the ceremony, followed by a press conference to be live streamed for the first time ever.
"We're thrilled to present Mr. Reynolds with our Man of the Year award, especially after he proved his ability to simultaneously break box-office records and the fourth wall in 2015," Guan Chen, President of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals shared in a statement to ET. "And if his headline-stealing kiss with Andrew Garfield at the Golden Globes is any indication, it looks like he's getting ready for his roast."
Hasty Pudding's annual Man and Woman of the Year honors are presented to performers who have made "lasting and impressive contributions to the world of entertainment."
Previous Man of the Year title-holders include Tom Hanks, Clint Eastwood, Robert De Niro, Robert Downey Jr., Justin Timberlake, and last year's recipient, Joseph-Gordon Levitt.
The 2017 Man of the Year festivities will take place on Feb. 3, and fans can stream the press conference via Hasty Pudding's Facebook page beginning at 8:40 pm EST.
