Michelle Rodriguez Can Run Wild With Bear Grylls, But Can She Land With Him?

Michelle Rodriguez isn’t a stranger to leaping from high places. As one of the stars of the summer blockbuster Furious 7, Rodriguez was part of a high-stakes mission that involved parachuting out of an airplane in her freakin’ car. Then again, there was a fair amount of effects work involved in that particular stunt. When the actress joins outdoorsman extraordinaire Bear Grylls in a 10,000-foot jump over the Nevada desert on Monday’s episode of Running Wild, it’s just her, a parachute, and the wide open sky.

Despite her visible nerves in this exclusive clip, the jump itself goes fine. It’s the landing that proves to be more of a challenge. As he drifts to the ground, Grylls warns of a “100-foot bluff” nearby the landing site that Rodriguez would be wise to avoid. But she touches down in a rocky way and doesn’t immediately respond to her guide’s call. “Guys, this isn’t good,” Grylls says just as the clip ends. You’ll have to tune in Aug. 10 to see what happened…

Spoiler: She makes it.
