Break out the rice -- Rosie O'Donnell's a married woman.
Comedian and former talk-show host Rosie O'Donnell announced Monday that she and Michelle Rounds married in June.
Usually known for her straightforwardness, O'Donnell made the reveal in a blog post about how she is selling paintings on eBay. According to O'Donnell, the two were originally to be wed earlier this month, but Rounds was diagnosed with the rare affliction of desmoid tumors in June, which forced them to cancel that date and get married on the fly in a small ceremony.
"We were to wed 10 days ago but her illness forced us to postpone the wedding," O'Donnell wrote. "luckily - as I was in ICU that day ... we married in private before her surgery, just the 2 of us."
O'Donnell and Rounds began dating last summer.
Bummed that you weren't invited to the wedding? Don't worry -- there's still a chance. According to O'Donnell, the pair will have "the wedding of r dreams" when they're both feeling up to it.
O'Donnell has had her own health worries recently -- the 50-year-old funny lady revealed that she had a heart attack earlier this month. After visiting a cardiologist, she was told that she had 99 percent blockage and received a stent.
