New 'Rogue One' Artwork Gives Closer Look at the Death Troopers and K-2SO

The Hollywood Reporter

Fans wanting to see a little more from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story have their chance today, with the release of new Rogue One digital trading cards for Topps' fan-favorite Star Wars: Card Trader app.

The iOS and Android app launched last year ahead of the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, turning the childhood habit of trading bubblegum cards into something more suitable for the smartphone era, quickly drawing in more than a million users, who opened 300 million packs and traded over 60 million virtual cards.

Topps' Rogue One  -  Premiere cards, which include a special Darth Vader character card, will be a limited-edition release, only available from today through the end of the weekend. They display artwork and illustrations inspired by characters and moments from the upcoming Lucasfilm release, due in theaters this December.

View some of the cards below, with a closer look at the dreaded Death Troopers and Alan Tudyk's robot, K-2SO.

Star Wars: Card Trader is available via the Apple App Store and Google Play.
