Remembering Florence Henderson (1934-2016)

Television has lost a legend. Florence Henderson, the beloved actress best known for her role as matriarch Carol Brady on the 1970s classic sitcom The Brady Bunch, died on Thursday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering from heart failure. She was 82.

Henderson may be best remembered as one of television's most iconic moms, but her career dates back to the 1950s with a guest role on I Spy. More recently, Henderson made an appearance on K.C. Undercover and showed support for her TV daughter Maureen McCormick on Dancing With the Stars.
