Record-Breaking Battle Between ‘American Ninja Warrior’ All-Stars

On American Ninja Warrior: All Stars, Najee Richardson went up against defending champ Drew Drechsel in the Supersonic Shelf Grab. Najee proved he could match Drew’s 14-foot record with an impressive swing, jump, and grip from shelf to shelf. Drew then matched his own record with an equally impressive leap: an almost horizontal launch from one shelf to the next.

With both guys reaching Drew’s old record, it was time to push that Shelf Grab back to 15 feet and see what they were really made of. With the pressure on, Najee failed but did an impressive and unintentional triple flip into the water. It was then up to Drew to break his own record, but he too hit the water.

With no one wanting a tie, it was time for these guys to towel off and give it another shot. Najee, up first, gave it his all but he just couldn’t get a grip on that small shelf.

Drew Dreschel dug down deep and proved to be a true ninja with a record-breaking, beautiful 15-foot leap.

‘American Ninja Warrior: All-Stars’ aired on NBC.
