Reagan Helps Nick Overcome His Stage Fright on ‘New Girl’
On New Girl, Reagan was having a tough read on boyfriend Nick’s behavior, which included running and wearing clean hoodies, so she enlisted the help of Jess, who clued her into what was wrong. It turned out that Nick’s book got rejected and he was completely bummed out. Being an amazing girlfriend, Reagan quickly found Nick a bookstore to carry his book and have a reading. There was just one problem: Nick’s crippling fear of public speaking.
On top of that, they needed to make 30 books by the end of the day. But Jess had just the thing: a craft wagon and a whole lot of glue. With the glue fumes coursing through their bodies, Nick had a sudden boost of confidence. When it wore off, though, Nick found himself filled with stage fright and Reagan needed to say just the right thing.
After Reagan helped boost his confidence, in a sweet girlfriend kind of way, Nick managed to do the reading, earn a fan, and sell a book.
New Girl airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
